Sunset Spotlight Contest: How to Qualify
Take your talent to the next level with the Sunset Spotlight Contest! Every month, the winner will headline Sunset Spotlight Thursdays and receive a $150 feature artist payment.
To Qualify:

  1. Perform at Sunset Sounds Open Mic on Wednesdays (5 PM - 8 PM).

  2. Create an artist profile on our website.

  3. Attend at least one open mic to become eligible.

The qualified artists will be part of our Sunset Spotlight Voting Polls, and the artist with the most votes will be selected to headline Sunset Spotlight Thursday, starting the first Thursday in April!

🎧 Sunset Sessions Podcast
Introducing the Sunset Sessions Podcast – a special program that will showcase our Sunset Sounds featured artists! Each episode, the selected artist will be interviewed by Joanna Fu and perform live. Sunset Sessions will have 3 exciting segments:

  1. On the Street with Rasul the Knowbody:

    • Rasul will hit the streets to ask fun, engaging questions that promote the artists and sponsors involved with our events. These on-the-street interviews will be posted across our social media pages.

  2. Artist Interview:

    • Get to know our featured artist as they sit down with Joanna Fu for an in-depth, casual interview. Learn about their journey, inspirations, and what’s next in their career.

  3. Artist Performance:

    • Watch the artist’s live performance, showcasing their best work in front of an excited audience. The performance will be broadcast on our YouTube channel as part of the podcast episode.
